People for Urban Progress - A non-profit organization that promotes and advances public transit, environmental awareness, and urban design. PUP is headquartered in the Fountain Square district and have turned head's with their Dome Bag Project. Check them out.

Environmental Defense Fund - Partnering with Businesses, Governments, and Communities to Find Practical Environmental Solutions.
Indiana Recyling Coalition - The mission of the Indiana Recycling Coalition is to support source reduction, reuse, composting, and recycling activities in Indiana. The Indiana Recycling Coalition supports policies and programs that advance sustainable materials management. The goal of this support is to conserve our natural resources, reduce energy use, encourage environmental responsibility and create green jobs through recycling.

The Indiana Recycling Coalition is a not-for-profit, 501 (c)(3) corporation representing concerned citizens, state and local government officials, business, industry and environmental groups since December of 1989.

Indy Winter Farmers Market - An indoor farmers market during the cold Indiana winter. The market is located at 901 N. East St. and will run between November 14, 2009 and April 24, 2010. The market is open on Saturdays from 9 am to 12:30 pm. Shoppers are encouraged to walk, bicycle or take public transportation to the market.

INDYCOG - News blog and advocacy group showcasing Indy bicycle culture.
Indy Bike Polo - Indy Bike Polo is Indianapolis' local hardcourt bike polo club based in Arsenal Park (46th and Haverford). Indy Bike Polo converted an abandoned tennis court into a community alternative sport facility using upcycled pallets and some ingenuity. Check out the greenest sports club in Indy. They play every Sunday at noon. 3-2-1 Polo!
